Worm Composting Workshop

Wednesday,  June 14 | 5:00 PM | Estes Valley Community Garden

A workshop to learn how worms can eat your garbage and produce compost to fertilize your garden.

Join Barbara Werner, Estes Valley Community Garden Board Member and an Estes Park gardener, to see how it is done, ask questions, and decide if you want to try it at your home. Barbara will bring her worm bin and demonstrate how to set up and manage one. A list of vermiculture resources will be provided.

"The desirable green thumb comes from knowledge of good gardening principles and the putting of these principles into practice. The person with a so-called green thumb is the one who loves flowers with the same sort of love one feels for his family, dog, riding horse, or any other thing that lives. "
