Estes Valley Community Garden (EVCG)

2026 Gardener License & Contract

This document constitutes an agreement between the gardener (identified below) and the Estes Valley Community Garden (EVCG), whereby, in exchange for $80, the gardener will be granted a Gardener's License for an individual garden plot of forty square feet (10 feet x 4 feet) ("Plot") for the period from May 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026. Any additional plots purchased for an additional $80 will be subject to this same License.

Gardener's status

EVCG is committed to providing gardening opportunities to low-income households by offering a limited number of sponsored plots at no cost to applicants. These plots are made possible through donations, grants, and the Garden’s available resources. The number of sponsored plots may vary each year depending on available funding and resources.

If you meet the requirements to receive a free gardening plot, we will contact you before May 1 to inform you of the status of your application, as plots are limited.

Annual income not to exceed: $61,260


Household size: 3

Annual income not to exceed: $68,940


Household size: 4

Annual income not to exceed: $76,560

Senior gardeners (65 years of age or older), gardeners with senior gardening partners, or those with special needs may apply for raised garden plots (originally built with a grant from the Village Thrift Store (VTS)).

While the tallest plots are designed with seniors and gardeners with special needs in mind, all plots in the Garden are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and may be reassigned as space allows. We will notify you by May 1 of your plot assignment.

Following the confirmation below and payment of the applicable fees, this document constitutes a license agreement between EVCG and the gardener, valid from May 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026.

EVCG respects your privacy. This website does not automatically collect data; however, by submitting this form, the information you provide will be sent directly to EVCG so that we can finalize the purchase agreement for a plot of land. We will never sell your information or share your personal data with third parties. If you make a payment through this website, the information provided during the payment process will only be shared with payment processors.
